Knitmas in July is almost upon us!
What does that mean for you?
This Knitmas in July, we’re celebrating the spirit of Knitmas with a KAL/ FAL.
A FAL?!
There’s nothing new under the sun, so I’m pretty sure I didn’t just invent this, but a FAL is a finish-along!
If you have a Knitmas project from years past, now’s the time to dig it out of your WIP pile and get back to work. In just twelve days, you can finish a gorgeous project and put a big ol’ checkmark next to it on the to-do list. That always feels good!
Just picture yourself wrapped in your beautiful shawl / scarf / cowl as you cast on for the Twelve Days of Knitmas 2023 this December 26th.😍

So…the question is: which one of the 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 patterns in my Nomadic Knits books should I cast on in preparation of the FAL?
I’m leaning towards Will ‘O the Wisp from the Louisiana/Mississippi/Alabama issue (since I’m living in Louisiana 🤷🏼♀️).

Well, I’ll be knitting, but I won’t be able to finish the one Knitmas that I didn’t finish because it happens to be in Florida and I’m in Maine. Enjoying the way life should be.

Is it that you pick any pattern for July 19? I am lost on what / how this works.
Hi Helen! The KAL/ FAL is for any Knitmas pattern Nomadic Knits has ever published, so there are four years to choose from. You can cast on a new project or finish up an old one! It’s not officially part of the KAL/ FAL, but you could also just knit or finish any pattern that Nomadic Knits has published. I’m just looking forward to knitting with everyone again!
