The 2024 Lonely Hearts Club pattern includes some techniques that may be new to you. I’ve created videos to illustrate how they work.
The pattern begins with a Two Color Cast On. You can work the Longtail Cast On or the German Twisted (Old Norwegian) Cast On using two colors to create a fun pop of contrast along the brim of your hat.
The German Twisted Cast On creates a more substantial amount of contrast and is stretchier, but either will work nicely!
We’re using Dip Stitches to create a heart-esque motif that wraps around the hat.
