DAILY CLUE UPDATES & TROUBLESHOOTING:
IF YOU PURCHASED THE TWELVE DAYS OF KNITMAS 2024 MKAL PATTERN FROM RAVELRY:
You will receive your daily pattern updates from Ravelry.
If you have notifications and emails turned off in Ravelry, you may not receive the notification, but the update will be in your library. If you are certain that you purchased the pattern and it isn't in your library, it’s likely that you purchased it without being signed into your account. Ravelry explains how to fix that in a recent post. Visit the Ravelry home page and scroll down to read the post made on November 5th.
***Patterns purchased on NomadicKnits.com will NOT show up in your Ravelry Library. If you would like the pattern in your Ravelry library, please purchase the pattern on Ravelry.
IF YOU PURCHASED THE TWELVE DAYS OF KNITMAS 2024 MKAL PATTERN FROM THE NOMADIC KNITS WEBSITE:

As Knitmas gets rolling, it’s all too easy for help requests to become lost in the sea of lovely Knitmas posts in the groups.
#SPOILERS INFO
#Spoilers guidance for the Facebook Group: Over the years, you've shared that some of you like seeing spoilers, while some of you love a surprise. To keep everyone feeling the Knitmas joy, we've devised a system to help provide both options. As you are sharing your progress, please do it via one of these two options:
-
Post that day's progress in the comments beneath our official Knitmas post for the day. The official post will look similar to the graphic on this post and will say what day it is.
-
Create a post with the colors you've chosen before you begin knitting - include #Spoilers in the main part of the post. Each day you can post your progress pics in the comments of that post. We've also had knitters use fun pics of themselves or their pets. Whatever makes you happy!
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: Some browsers and devices display Facebook images differently. This means that you may see project images that were shared following all the above guidelines. It seems to happen more often on mobile devices. Unfortunately, this is a Facebook feature and is beyond our, and the original poster's, control.
#Spoilers guidance for the Ravelry Group: In the Nomadic Knits Ravelry Group, there are two separate threads for this year's Twelve Days of Knitmas MKAL: SPOILERS & NO SPOILERS.
Choose the thread that matches your spoiler preference.😉
Pattern Info
GAUGE: The gauge for this project was measured on a firmly blocked swatch. If you have the suggested yarn—three skeins at 400 yards/ 100 grams each—you have plenty of yarn to swatch with.
The pattern contains sections of lace, which is why it is firmly blocked.😉 We want to open that lace up and show off your work!
Everyone knits differently. Don’t worry if you need to increase or decrease your needle size to achieve the desired gauge.
Lastly, and most importantly, this is your creation. If you prefer a denser fabric, you may want to proceed at a different gauge than suggested, and that’s absolutely fine! Your project will become a bit smaller, but we’re knitting scarves and wraps, so achieving the suggested gauge isn’t a must.
The yarn requirement is such that we will NOT be playing yarn chicken.🎉😂 This gives you plenty of wiggle room when it comes to modifications and gauge.
Needles: US 5/ 3.75mm needles or the size needed to achieve gauge. You may also want needles one size up from your gauge needles if you tend to knit colorwork more tightly and for binding off loosely. Use your preferred style of needles for knitting flat.
I used US 5/ 3.75mm & US 6/ 4mm 24” circular needles.
Gauge: 19 sts and 32 rows = 4”/ 10cm in garter st, firmly blocked.
YARN REQUIREMENTS: You can knit more than one scarf with the suggested yarn. Depending on your color choices throughout the pattern, you may also be able to knit more than one wrap.
Important info is always pinned to the Featured Posts section of the Nomadic Knits: Knit the World Group page, and is also posted in the Ravelry groups.
