About Nomadic Knits

Thanks for visiting Nomadic Knits, a boutique knitting magazine featuring beautifully designed knitwear, local fiber producers, and indie dyers.

Each issue shines a spotlight on a different region of the world and highlights what makes that region special. Nomadic Knits was co-created by Becky Beagell and Melissa Kemmerer in 2018. Since then, Nomadic Knits has published twelve gorgeous magazines, affording them the opportunity to work with talented artists spanning the globe.

In 2022, Melissa left Nomadic Knits to focus on her design work at Melissa K Designs. Becky has since focused on hosting knit-alongs throughout the year and curating an online shop full of beautiful items for knitters.

Nomadic Knits is home to the official Twelve Days of Knitmas Mystery Knit-Along, which kicks off on December 26th every year. Thousands of knitters from around the world join in to try new techniques, learn from one another, and share their love of knitting. Knitmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year.🎶 I hope you'll join us!
