Twelve Days of Knitmas | 2025 Yarn Kits

The Twelve Days of Knitmas Mystery Knit-Along(MKAL) is our annual let's-spend-this-awkward-post-holiday-time-knitting-together-and-shaking-off-the-stress-of-the-season MKAL. 

Put more plainly: The #twelvedaysofknitmasMKAL is a twelve-day knit-along full of fun and friendship, and at the end of it, you have a beautiful project to gift or keep. It's really that simple.

The 2025 Knitmas Kits have arrived, and they’re looking extra cozy.✨

Each kit contains the perfect amount of yarn for the Twelve Days of Knitmas 2025 pattern as well as some special Knitmas accessories to help make the season even sweeter.

What is this year's project?

This year's Twelve Days of Knitmas MKAL project is a lovely crescent shawl made to wrap around you like a warm hug. The rest of the details are a mystery that we'll unwrap one day at a time beginning December 26th.

  • One full-size skein of Main Color in Super Silky (400 yards/ 100g)
  • Four mini-skeins of Contrast Colors in Super Silky (81 yards/ 20g each)
  • A Twelve Days of Knitmas gingerbread gift box packed with Knitmas treats
  • USPS Priority Shipping to the US/ USPS First-Class Shipping to Canada

This year's gift box is a real treat - pun intended. 🤓 Inside you'll find this year's official Twelve Days of Knitmas sticker, a package of Soak to help you freshen up and block your completed project, and some sweet treats to make your knitting time even more cozy.

Orders placed by December 21st also include a beautiful, handmade shawl magnet to help make styling your shawls a breeze! Shawl magnets can also be worn as a brooch or used as a refrigerator magnet.

Orders placed on December 22nd or later include a fun collection of knitting accessories.

Each Knitmas Kit is packaged with care and ready for gift-giving.

PLEASE NOTE: The Twelve Days of Knitmas Kit does not include the Twelve Days of Knitmas MKAL pattern. Purchase the pattern separately to receive the daily clues and full Knitmas experience. The pattern is available for purchase here and on Ravelry.

If you prefer to store your patterns on Ravelry, please purchase it there. Patterns purchased on NomadicKnits.com are non-transferable.

When do Knitmas Kits ship?

Knitmas Kits begin shipping December 8*. All kits shipped within the US include shipping via USPS Priority Mail, ensuring you'll receive your Knitmas bundle of joy in time to cast on December 26. 

*Kits shipping to Canada will ship as soon as they are available. USPS First Class postage is included with your kit along with a giant helping of good shipping juju. 

Important Details & FAQs: 

  • Kits begin shipping December 8.

  • The price of your kit includes USPS Priority shipping to the US and USPS First Class shipping to Canada. Shipping to Canada may be subject to handling and duty fees upon arrival. Because we're shipping USPS First Class, this isn't likely. 

  • To receive your kit in time for a December 26 cast-on, please place your order by December 1 for our Canadian friends and December 9 for our US knitters. 

  • You will receive an email with a tracking number when your order ships. To ensure that email doesn't end up in your spam or promotions folder, please add hello@nomadicknits.com to your trusted contact list.
  • We do our best to represent yarn colors as accurately as possible. However, some colors may appear slightly different in person due to the variations of hand-dyed yarn and the appearance of color on different digital displays.

  • We cannot wind yarn, gift wrap, customize kits, or swap out items. Thank you for understanding.💕
