Sandhills Socks Knitting Pattern

$6.00

The Sandhills is a region in northern Nebraska featuring mixed-grass prairie amongst grass-stabilized sand dunes. These top-down lace socks take their inspiration from this national natural landmark. Long grasses of twisted ribbing work their way down the leg of the sock while lacy dunes emerge across and down the front. A heel flap and gusset create a perfect fit, while the round toe carefully completes this classy footwear. The varied textures, twisted stitches, and lace motifs combine to make Sandhills Socks wonderfully fun and interesting to knit.

Fall in love with Iowa and Nebraska from the comfort of your home; explore the region with us as you take in the sweeping landscapes, meet the local indie dyers, and pick a new project to cast on.

The size inclusive knitting patterns include socks, a hat, two shawls, a cowl, legwarmers, a pullover, a cardigan, and a swoncho, ranging from fingering weight to aran weight and from beginner to advanced.
